We understand concerns faced by members of our community regarding the H1N1 virus. We can assure you that Mid-Del is in constant communication with local, state and federal agencies regarding best practices for your student's safety. Like many Districts, we are experiencing H1N1 cases in our schools. We are following the recommendations of all health agencies to encourage students and staff members to follow basic H1N1 guidelines. We have provided literature to our students and parents and it is available on our web site.

As a District, we will be installing hand sanitizing dispensers in any elementary classroom that does not have a sink. We will also be adding the dispensers to high traffic areas in secondary schools. We are working with the healthcare community to encourage healthy habits and preventative measures to keep your students safe. Mid-Del Schools are safe, challenged and ready!
