Weather Update May 6, 2024: Evening Activities Canceled In collaboration with the National Weather Service, Mid-Del officials have made the decision to cancel all evening activities today out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. Mid-Del Technology Center has canceled evening classes. Latchkey and Boys & Girls Club programs have also been canceled for tonight. We understand the importance of safety, and we want to ensure everyone remains safe during potentially inclement weather. Our top priority is always the well-being of our school community. We will continue to monitor today's weather closely and will notify our families promptly if any changes occur to our procedures. Attention Volleyball Athletes and Parents: A severe weather advisory has been issued for our area for this evening. We have decided to cancel tonight’s volleyball tryouts. Tryouts will be TOMORROW NIGHT, Tuesday, May 7th from 3:30-6:30. Help us get the word out!

The Mid-Del Art Show opens tonight at the Del City High School Performing Arts Center lobby. Viewing dates and times: May 2-3, from 6-7:30pm May 4, from 5-7pm *The Art Show reception recognizing artists will be held on May 4th at 6pm in the DCHS Commons. #mdpurpose #finearts

In a little over a week, Del City High School Bands Spring Concert at 6PM. Music performances from Jazz Ensemble 2, Jazz Ensemble 1, and the Concert Band! So excited for you all to come and see what our students have been working on! 🦅🦅🦅

Opening Day.

Military Cords for our 2024 Graduates. Our Tinker Air Force Base School Liaison office provides purple graduation cords for our military connected seniors to wear at graduation. Any past/present military connected student who attended school while a parent was deployed/active member can receive a purple military cord. Please contact your counselor to receive your purple military cord. If you need further assistance, please contact Stacey Boyer at sboyer@mid-del.net. Deadline to receive a cord is May 10, 2024.

Graduation is almost here.

The start of a new Tradition. The points are in (calculated with our 5 Star Program). The Class of 2024 Seniors won the 1st most spirited Class of the year. They will get a discount to the Senior Vs. Faculty Games. Proceeds from the Games Funds the Scholarships at Graduation.

Today. Del City StuCo helped the Oklahoma Association of Student Councils and Alva High School (OASC Vice President) host the OASC Playbook Conference. The event is a success.

Congratulations to Luke Corbit and Ronnie Brown on auditioning and each securing a spot in the OBA/OKJE All Star Jazz Ensemble on Guitar and Trumpet. Good job to all who auditioned. You all did a great job representing Del City, so proud of you!!!

All Mid-Del Athletes must have completed forms in Rank One to participate in any athletic programs. Students must have a physical on file. Physicals must be dated after May 1, 2024. Physicals will be given in each high school Field House. Visit us online at www.mid-del.net.
