CAMS Pom did some cleaning this past weekend when they swept all of their dance categories at the Trendsetters State Dance Championship!!🧹 They are State Champs in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Mix!!! Hardwork pays off!! Not only did they bring home the hardware for the group dances, but CAMS POM has State Champs for solos and Trio!! Solos: State Champ: Marlie Runner up: Halston 3rd: Kynlee 4th: Parker 5th: Bailey 6th: Lexi 7th: Andi Trio: State Champ: Marlie, Bailey, and Parker Way to go, girls!!! It was a great day to be a Titan!!! NEXT STOP: NATIONALS!!! They will be going to Orlando, Fl, the first week of February. In addition to the squad performing our dances, one of our very own, Marlie, qualified for the semi finals for soloists and will perform her solo in Florida!!! We are very pleased with our squad of State Champions!!!!

Attention CAMS Families, Today is a remote learning day. If your student does not have their computer, they can login to their Mid Del account on any device to access canvas. A USB C charger will charge their school computer, if needed. Stay safe and stay warm!

Weather Update – Remote Learning Day

Due to inclement weather, Friday, January 23, will be a REMOTE LEARNING DAY for all Mid-Del students.

Students should follow the remote learning schedule posted on their school’s website and watch for communication from their teachers regarding assignments and expectations.

Please note: Mid-Del Technology Center daytime classes are canceled for Friday, January 23.

The Carl Albert Middle & High School combined Step Team at The Martin Luther King Jr. Parade downtown today!

The Oklahoma South Central Directors Association All-Region Honor Band Concerts were held today at the University of Oklahoma. Students were placed in this band through a competitive audition process. We were proud to have 6 CAMS students perform today! Dayton Lang, 7th grade euphonium Azarayah Marquez, 8th grade trumpet Leonard Giles, 8th grade trumpet Lex Stuck, 8th grade horn Johnathan Stephens, 8th grade tuba Jackson Borrego, 8th grade percussion It was an excellent weekend of music making! We encourage all of our students to audition next year!

Starting Track & Field tryouts are coming soon! Coach Edmondson is holding Track & Field conditioning the week of February 23rd through February 27th with tryouts March 2nd through March 6th. All athletes are required to have a current sports physical in order to participate. It is required that all athletes attend conditioning week and tryout week. Are your students interested in the new step program here at CAMS? The coaches are having an informational meeting during school for the students on January 16th at 1:11PM in the small gym. All interested students must attend.
