Weather Update May 6, 2024: Evening Activities Canceled
In collaboration with the National Weather Service, Mid-Del officials have made the decision to cancel all evening activities today out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. Mid-Del Technology Center has canceled evening classes. Latchkey and Boys & Girls Club programs have also been canceled for tonight.
We understand the importance of safety, and we want to ensure everyone remains safe during potentially inclement weather. Our top priority is always the well-being of our school community.
We will continue to monitor today's weather closely and will notify our families promptly if any changes occur to our procedures. Stay informed through the following channels:

We encourage our students, staff, and community to wear purple on Monday, April 15th for Purple Up! for Military Kids Day! Purple Up! For Military Kids is a day for communities to wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. We wanted to remind our families about our safety protocols we have in place for District events. Please see the graphic explaining our clear bag policy and procedures. The Elementary Music Festival is happening Thursday, March 28th at the Carl Albert High School Field House and these safety protocols will be followed. Please allow for extra time for admittance if you are planning to attend Thursday evening.
Mid-Del Schools will be closed for Spring Break from March 18-22, 2024. Students and staff will return to school on Monday, March 25, 2024. Be safe and enjoy your break! #mdpurpose
