Current Mid-Del Families, It’s time to begin Phase 1 of the enrollment process for the 2025–2026 school year! Phase 1 opened at 8:00 AM on Monday, April 21, 2025, for all current Mid-Del students—especially those moving to a new school site as they advance from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school. You should have received an email on April 21 containing your child’s Snapcode, which is required to complete re-enrollment. This step allows you to verify and update your student’s information, including contact details and residency. Important: You must have your student’s Snapcode to begin. If you do not receive your Snapcode, please contact your student’s school directly. Once Phase 1 is complete, you’ll be ready for Phase 2, which begins July 15 and includes submitting your updated proof of residency. We look forward to serving your family for another great year in Mid-Del! Mid-Del Enrollment Team

weather update
Wednesday, February 19, 2025 Good afternoon Mid-Del - I hope you've all been able to stay safe and warm these last couple of days. Things are looking up. We aren't supposed to get any more precipitation, and tomorrow morning's wind chill should only dip down to negative five! Yeah, that's pretty bad still. The roads are still sheets of ice. Our parking lots and sidewalks are a mess. Hopefully tomorrow, we will have a chance to start clearing some of the slick areas. Because of all of this, we will have another Remote Learning Day tomorrow, February 20, 2025. Hopefully (fingers crossed) we will be able to be in school Friday. Until then, stay inside if there's any way you can. Don't take any unnecessary risks. We'll get back to teaching and learning soon enough. Sincerely, Dr. Rick Cobb

Del El families, It is scholastic book fair time again! The weather has kept students from shopping - but Scholastic has graciously extended our fair into next week! Families and students can see specific shopping times between now and the 27th of February! Feel free to share the school page to family and friends - any online purchases provide 25% of proceeds for our school to use. Worried about sending cash with students? Load an ewallet instead! Thanks to your generous support in the Fall, we were able to purchase replacements of popular books that were literally holding on by threads. We were also able to purchase nonfiction and fiction titles that support our diverse population in content and main character representations. This book fair will help us raise funds to purchase items for a maker space/STEAM corner and listening centers in the library. I am really excited for the library to be able to support and extend classroom learning with additional hands-on experiences for your students! Thanks for supporting the library! Mrs. Kindel

Mid-Del Families, We hope you are staying safe and warm during this period of unpredictable weather. With the uncertainty surrounding school schedules this week, we have decided to postpone Parent-Teacher Conferences to Tuesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 27 to ensure all families have the opportunity to connect with teachers in a safe and productive way. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these adjustments. We appreciate your flexibility and support as we continue working to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s school. Stay safe and take care. #mdpurpose
