The Oklahoma State Department of Education's Transfer Portal is currently not operational. Due to this complication, Mid-Del will begin taking out-of-district transfer applications on Friday, July 1, 2022 for all grades and schools as paper copies. The application is available on our website so that you may print, complete and have it ready to turn in at the Central Enrollment Center beginning at 8:00 a.m. on July 1. Applications will not be accepted unless they are complete including the student's STN (State Testing Number). Once the application has been reviewed, you will receive notification of approval or denial. If application is approved, you will receive information on next steps then. Questions, please email md-transfers@mid-del.net. Click HERE for a link to the application. Below are possible scenarios for families: Scenario #1 (student has been enrolled in Oklahoma before) 1. Contact the previous district to get student’s STN 2. Complete the paper transfer application. 3. Turn the application in at the CEC 4. Wait for response – if have questions, email md-transfers@mid-del.net Scenario #2 (student has not attended classes in Oklahoma prior to 2022-2023 school year) 1. Enroll at the resident district to receive STN. 2. Complete the paper transfer application. 3. Turn the application in at the CEC 4. Wait for response – if have questions, email md-transfers@mid-del.net What is an STN and how do I get one? The State Testing Number (STN) is a number assigned to every student that enrolls in an Oklahoma Public School district. When the enrollment information is entered into that district’s student information system, it is communicated to the Oklahoma State Department of Education electronically. Once the State Department of Education receives the information, they then assign and return the STN to the enrolling district.
