Medicine Pick-Up is March 23, 2020:
As previously mentioned, all schools have been mandated to be closed until April 6th. Understanding that this was an unexpected occurrence, many families may need to pick up prescriptions for this period of time. Administrators will have schools open on Monday, March 23rd, from 9:00 a.m. until noon for parents to pick up medication. Only individuals on the child’s pick up list may retrieve medication. Families will not have access to other areas of the schools for the duration of the closure. If this pick up time does not work for you, please contact your child’s school during this time period to make other arrangements with the building principal.

FTotD: As your students get older, new situations may call for new or different rules. Maybe your child has started driving, working at a part-time job, or dating. Sit down together to talk about your expectations. For more tips, see the photo.

FToD: Online games/apps can turn into big time wasters for students—and keep them from completing important tasks. Encourage your students to budget time spent on apps/games and to set a timer or alarm to keep track of when to get back to other tasks. For more tips, see the pic.

Falcon TotD: Consequences teach responsibility. Let your child make decisions such as how to spend their money or whether to start homework before or after dinner. Then, discuss the pros & cons of those choices so your teen learns to think them through. See the pic for more!

Mid-Del Schools has canceled all classes and activities for Thursday, February 6th due to inclement weather. This includes all daytime and evening classes at the Mid-Del Technology Center.

Falcon TotD: Students often lash out at adults with rudeness. A calm response may keep things from escalating. You might say, “I understand you’re upset; we’ll talk more when you're calm.” Or “I want to hear you, but you’ll need to be respectful.” For more tips, see the image.
