Parents can:

• Message teachers

• View assignments, details, descriptions, due dates, and grades.

• Set reminders for assignments

• View course grades.

• View course announcements.

How to get the Canvas Parent App:

• Download the Canvas Parent app. There are 3 different Canvas apps. Canvas Parent is the one with the blue logo.

• Click Find School

• Type Mid-Del then select Mid-Del Public Schools 

• Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Canvas Login for Mid-Del Parents (Observer)

• Select Create Account at the bottom 

• Enter your information until you get to the Student Pairing Code. 

• Enter their Pairing Code and click Start Participating. Pairing codes are case sensitive.

How to Generate a Pairing Code: 

• Have your student log into their Canvas account

• On the upper left hand side of the screen select Account  

• Click on Settings

• On the right-hand side of the screen about halfway down select Pair With Observer

• Enter the 6-digit code in your Parent Canvas App.
