All members of the Mid-Del Schools community are invited to participate in the Praise with Purpose Video Contest. There are categories for several groups and prizes for winners.

\r\n

This video contest encourages contestants to offer praise to someone from the Mid-Del Community through a short video. Video creators can choose to honor a student, a teacher, a principal, a counselor, a custodian, a cafeteria worker, a teacher’s assistant, a secretary, a bus driver, or anyone else who is a member of the Mid-Del Schools Community.

\r\n

The goal is to encourage others and build positive climate and culture in our schools. 

\r\n

Videos don't have to be fancy. The only requirement is that contestants offer thanks or praise to someone from the Mid-Del Community.

\r\n

Contestants are encouraged to upload videos to social media by using the hashtags, "#mdpurpose" and "#praisewithpurpose".

\r\n

Videos should be no longer than 90 seconds. Videos can Praise with Purpose a person, a group of people or a place.

\r\n

Creator Categories are: 

\r\n

  • Pre-k through 2nd Grade

  • 3rd through 5th Grade

  • 6th through 8th grade

  • 9th through 12th grade

  • Certified Staff Member

  • Administrator

  • Other Staff Member

  • Parent or Other Community Member

\r\n

Prizes are:

\r\n

  • Category winners will receive a $50 gift card.

  • Grand Prize Runner Up will receive a $100 gift card.

  • Grand Prize Winner will receive a $250 gift card.

What should the videos include?:

\r\n

  • Who are you honoring?

  • What are you honoring them for?

  • When did they impact your life?

  • Where did they impact your life?

  • Why did you choose them to honor?

  • How did they impact your life?

\r\n

The Praise with Purpose Video Contest is open for submissions from Monday, March 29, 2021 through Friday, April 30, 2021.

\r\n

All school rules must be followed in each video and must be school appropriate.

\r\n
