Good morning. This is a message from Midwest City High School.
Earlier today, we received a tip regarding a possible weapon on campus. Our staff immediately responded and, upon investigation, determined that the item in question was a toy gun. While no threat was posed, toy guns are not permitted on school grounds, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with district policy.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we take all reports seriously. We appreciate the vigilance of our school community in helping us maintain a secure learning environment.
