Mid-Del Families, We want to inform you about recent social media threats of violence directed at multiple secondary schools in the metro area and across the state. Our staff, along with local authorities, are thoroughly investigating the sources of these threats, and while they have been deemed to be of very low credibility, we feel it’s important to keep you informed. Rest assured, our schools remain safe, and all safety protocols are in place. Unfortunately, these types of social media threats have become more common, but they are still taken very seriously. Each threat will be fully investigated, and those responsible for making or sharing such threats can face severe consequences. We encourage you to talk to your student(s) about the responsible use of social media. As always, if you see something concerning, please report it to our administration immediately to ensure proper investigation.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Thank you for your continued support.
Update: At this time, no Mid-Del Schools have received a threatening message. We appreciate the families who have seen social media posts and have shared them with our schools.

The Board of Education named Mr. Tyler McIntosh as Assistant Principal for Midwest City High School for the 2024-2025 school year during the Special Board of Education meeting today.
Tyler is a graduate of Mid-America Christian University and the University of Central Oklahoma. He has served in Mid-Del for seven years, four as an assistant principal at MCMS and one as an AP at CAMS. He taught Oklahoma History and was the head soccer coach for two years at MCHS. Before Mid-Del, he taught and coached at Muskogee High School. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three wonderful daughters, playing soccer, and hanging out with friends.
