Pleasant Hill Elementary School

Pleasant Hill's renowned music teacher, Ms. Morris, received a grant worth $882.78 from the Chuck Lorre Family Foundation on August 19th. The Foundation surprised over 700 teachers nationwide by fully funding Donors Choose projects supporting music education, and Ms. Morris was a prepared and deserving recipient. Ms. Morris is now able to complete her curated Orff musical instruments set with the Bass and Glock Tabletop stands to protect the bass bars in rehearsals, storage, and transportation for performances. Ms. Morris leads 4th and 5th graders in Orff ensemble, which plays for school events and festivals. These magnificent students and fearless leader dedicate time and focused energy to executing dynamic melodies on these eloquent instruments.
