Thank you, second grade, for showing us how to rest and prepare for the test! Testing begins next Tuesday, April 18th: 3rd grade on Tuesday and Wednesday and 4th & 5th on Thursday and Friday. For week 2: 3rd-5th Grades test April 24th-25th and 5th only April 26-27th.


We encourage all of our Mid-Del families to wear purple for Purple Up! For Military Kids Day on Thursday, April 13th!
Purple Up! For Military Kids is a day for communities to wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. Purple indicates that all branches of the military are supported; Air Force blue, Army green, Navy blue, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue all thought to combine together as a single color, purple.

State testing for 3rd-5th graders begins April 18th. See the dates for your child's assigned days. Assure students get a good night's sleep, substantial breakfast, and be on time to school as the tests begin in the morning. Thank you for your support!

Flyers also went home Friday. We encourage all students K-5 to dress up and build morale for our upcoming 3rd-5th test takers.

Congratulations to Ms. Morris and our young musicians who represented Pleasant Hill at the Oklahoma Orff Festival in Ponca City yesterday! The program, My Many Colored Days, consisted of 12 choral songs along with instrumentation and movement. Our Orff Ensemble performed with poise, beauty, and excellent precision. Thank you, Cardinals, for this beautiful musical experience!


Families, we welcome you to join us for Reading with the Redz tonight from 6-8pm. There will be free dinner, photo booth, parent resources, and door prizes. Author Deya Jacobs-Adams will be storytelling at 6:15pm in the gymnasium. We are so excited to spend this evening with your family. See you there!


Thunder Bus visits Pleasant Hill. On February 9th, early childhood students had the opportunity to shop for a free book from the Thunder Book Bus. OKC Thunder, in cooperation with American Fidelity Insurance, sponsors this traveling truck & trailer filled with grade and age appropriate titles for children. Thank you to Thunder and AFI -we had a blast!


All Mid-Del families are invited to the District's STEM Family Night Thursday, April 6th from 5:30-7:30pm at Midwest City Elementary located at 2211 S Midwest Blvd.
Come and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in an interactive and engaging environment. Learn how to code and control robots, work with forensics, design a water filter, explore airplane flight, have a Q&A session with a NASA astronaut and more!
There will also be raffle prizes and refreshments while they last. #mdpurpose


Update 2-2-2023. Due to the additional precipitation that came in overnight, making early morning transportation more dangerous, Mid-Del Schools will be closed Thursday, February 2, 2023. This will be a traditional snow day. Students will not have remote learning.
