Update: February 1, 2023 As of right now, we are planning to have in-person school tomorrow, February 2. The roads around here aren't perfect, but overall, we're in pretty good shape. Members of our District team will be out early in the morning driving through the district to evaluate the impact of any additional precipitation we receive overnight. According to the National Weather Service webinar from today, the chances are only slight for anything that may affect our community. We'll make an announcement if any changes are necessary as soon as possible. Thank you and we appreciate you. #mdpurpose

Mid-Del Schools has been participating in daily weather webinars held by the National Weather Service to discuss the current winter weather for our community. We also monitor our local news broadcasts and members of our staff drive the neighborhoods we serve to help determine whether or not to hold in-person classes in our District. Due to the current road conditions in our neighborhoods and many of our streets throughout the entire Mid-Del community, we have made the decision that February 1, 2023, will be a Remote Learning instructional day in Mid-Del Schools. All Mid-Del evening activities have been canceled. When the District shifts to Remote Learning instructional days, please be sure to log into your child's Canvas account for schedules and instructional directions. All Mid-Del Technology Center Daytime/Full time Classes have been canceled for February 1. Evening classes will be determined on February 1. Please visit the MDTC website for more information on February 1.

Our 4th and 5th grade Honor Choir spread holiday cheer to the residents of Fountain Brook. Our wonderful music teacher Ms. McBride played the piano for every song that was requested by the residents. Students also handed out cards and hugs. It truly was an amazing experience!
