Good morning Mid-Del Families,
Due to ongoing weather threats this morning that would impact the morning drive and bus routes, we have canceled school for today, November 18, 2024. This is an inclement weather day, NOT a virtual day. Stay safe!

All Federal Survey cards were due on Friday, November 8th. They were sent home in October on green paper. If you have not turned in your families' cards (one per student), please stop by the office on Wednesday, November 13th.
Every single student who attends Mid-Del Schools must return this form completed and signed. The cards are required for funding for our schools and we want to ensure all of our schools are properly funded. Thank you for doing your part!

We are proud to honor our Veterans for their bravery and sacrifices that safeguard our freedoms. While our schools will be closed, our administrative offices will remain open. Thank you for your service! #mdpurpose #TeamTinker #VeteransDay #OneDistrictOneFamily

Just over one year ago, the patrons of the Mid-Del School District came together to support a bold vision for the future of our schools, approving a $492,700,000 bond proposal aimed at making significant improvements district-wide. Since then, we’ve made remarkable strides in transforming that vision into reality. In this newsletter, we’re excited to share updates on the progress of various construction projects, including detailed renderings, as well as improvements to our security measures and recent purchases that enhance our students' learning environments. Thank you for your continued trust and investment in the future of our district! ONE District. ONE Family. #mdpurpose

Good afternoon Townsend Families:
Our school will remain on lockdown for the rest of the school day. We are encouraging parents who have student walkers to pick up your student at the end of school today. If you plan to pick up your student instead of allowing your student to walk home, please contact the school so we can make sure your student is in the correct pick up area at the end of the school day. Walkers may be picked up from the north gym door by parents/guardians or in the car pick up line. You must have your car tag or ID available for pick up. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We are taking every precaution to help keep your student and our staff safe. We appreciate the support of the Del City Police Department and their presence at our school today.

Good morning Townsend Families.
We have been notified from local law enforcement that a shooting has taken place in the neighborhood near our school and the police are looking for an armed suspect. There is a heavy police presence at our school as well as in the neighborhood. Please be aware and please be mindful of our student walkers and bus riders this morning. Our school will be on lockdown but we will receive our students as they arrive. Thank you.

Mid-Del Schools has a scheduled Professional Development Day on Monday, September 16, 2024. There will be no classes for students. Students will return to school on Tuesday, September 17. #mdpurpose
