Veterans Day-24
Just over one year ago, the patrons of the Mid-Del School District came together to support a bold vision for the future of our schools, approving a $492,700,000 bond proposal aimed at making significant improvements district-wide. Since then, we’ve made remarkable strides in transforming that vision into reality. In this newsletter, we’re excited to share updates on the progress of various construction projects, including detailed renderings, as well as improvements to our security measures and recent purchases that enhance our students' learning environments. Thank you for your continued trust and investment in the future of our district! ONE District. PD DAY
Mid-Del Families, We want to inform you about recent social media threats of violence directed at multiple secondary schools in the metro area and across the state. Our staff, along with local authorities, are thoroughly investigating the sources of these threats, and while they have been deemed to be of very low credibility, we feel it’s important to keep you informed. Rest assured, our schools remain safe, and all safety protocols are in place. Unfortunately, these types of social media threats have become more common, but they are still taken very seriously. Each threat will be fully investigated, and those responsible for making or sharing such threats can face severe consequences. We encourage you to talk to your student(s) about the responsible use of social media. As always, if you see something concerning, please report it to our administration immediately to ensure proper investigation. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Thank you for your continued support. Update: At this time, no Mid-Del Schools have received a threatening message. We appreciate the families who have seen social media posts and have shared them with our schools.
