• Open a new tab on Google Chrome

• Log in to your Google account in the upper right hand side of the screen. Your email address is FirstNameGoogleNumber@mid-delonline.net. If you don't remember your school email address or password please reach out to one of your teachers and they can give it to you.

• Go to the Mid-Del website, scroll down, and click on that Canvas icon.

• Googling Canvas won't work, you must go through the Mid-Del website.

• Email address- Your email address is FirstNameGoogleNumber@mid-delonline.net. If you don't remember your school email address please reach out to one of your teachers and they can give it to you.

• Password- If you forget your password please reach out to one of your teachers and they can help you.

With a Canvas Parent account you can...

• Contact your student's teacher directly from the app

• View assignment descriptions and due dates

• Set reminders for assignments

• View assignment details and grades

• View course grades

• Set grade alerts

• View course announcements

Setting up Canvas Parent

• Download the Canvas Parent app. There are 3 different Canvas apps. Canvas Parent is the one with the blue logo.

• Click Find School

• Type Mid-Del then select Mid-Del Public Schools 

• Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Canvas Login for Mid-Del Parents (Observer)

• Select Create Account at the bottom 

• Enter your information until you get to Student Pairing Code. 

• Enter their Pairing Code and click Start Participating

Finding your student’s Pairing Code

• Have your student log into their Canvas account

• On the upper left hand side of the screen select Account  

• Click on Settings

• On the right hand side of the screen about half way down select Pair With Observe

• If you are unable to find their pairing code please see the video below or contact one of your student's teachers.

Remote Learning Day ~ Google Meet Office Hours can be utilized for students needing help with the Remote Learning Day assignments. It is NOT REQUIRED that students log into Google Meet Office Hours. Students are counted as present if they have logged in to their Google Meet

• 8:00am - 8:20am: Teacher Preparation and Planning Period

• 8:30am - 9:00am: Knowledge and Innovation Essentials Office Hours (Bomber Crew, PLTW, FACS, Computers, Adv. Learning).

• 9:10am - 9:40am: Math Office Hours

• 9:50am - 10:20am: U.S History & Geography Office Hours

• 10:30am - 11:00am: Fine Arts Essentials Office Hours (Band, Orchestra, Vocal Music, Art, German I)

• 11:00am - 12:30pm: Lunch

• 12:30pm - 1:00pm: ELA Office Hours

• 1:10pm - 1:40pm: Science Office Hours

• 1:50pm - 2:20pm: Literacy Office Hours

• 2:30pm - 3:00pm: Health, Nutrition & Physical Education Essentials Office Hours (Dance, P.E., Weight Training, Health)

• 3:00pm - 3:20pm: Counselor’s Corner with Grade Level Counselor
