Good morning Midwest City Middle School families.
Overnight, administrators were made aware of a student making a threat against our school on social media. The Midwest City Police Department has filed charges against the student who made the threat. We need the support of our families to help prevent threats against our school as well as individuals. All threats disrupt school, waste law enforcement resources, and put first responders in unnecessary danger. Please help us by reminding your student that threatening statements can cause serious legal and financial consequences. The student who made the threat will not be returning to our school. Families, please help us by being aware of your student’s social media activities. We will not hesitate to work with law enforcement to take legal action against any individual who threatens our school. Thank you.
