2024-2025 Clear Backpack Requirement for Grades 6-12
In an effort to improve the safety measures currently in place, Mid-Del Public Schools will require all students in grades 6-12 to carry clear backpacks. Additionally, the maximum size for non-transparent bags that students are permitted to carry during the school day will be 5.5 inches x 8.5 inches.
The summer reading program through the Metropolitan Library starts June 1st! Reading regularly is a great way to help prevent learning loss over the summer. 📖✨
It's FREE to sign up, either in person at the library or online. One of the many great things about the Metropolitan Library System is that they partner with the Pioneer Library System. If you have a card from one, you can get a card from the other too! 📚🤝

Weather Update May 6, 2024: Evening Activities Canceled
In collaboration with the National Weather Service, Mid-Del officials have made the decision to cancel all evening activities today out of an abundance of caution for our students, families, and staff. Mid-Del Technology Center has canceled evening classes. Latchkey and Boys & Girls Club programs have also been canceled for tonight.
We understand the importance of safety, and we want to ensure everyone remains safe during potentially inclement weather. Our top priority is always the well-being of our school community.
