Mid-Del Families, We want to inform you about recent social media threats of violence directed at multiple secondary schools in the metro area and across the state. Our staff, along with local authorities, are thoroughly investigating the sources of these threats, and while they have been deemed to be of very low credibility, we feel it’s important to keep you informed. Rest assured, our schools remain safe, and all safety protocols are in place. Unfortunately, these types of social media threats have become more common, but they are still taken very seriously. Each threat will be fully investigated, and those responsible for making or sharing such threats can face severe consequences. We encourage you to talk to your student(s) about the responsible use of social media. As always, if you see something concerning, please report it to our administration immediately to ensure proper investigation. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Thank you for your continued support. Update: At this time, no Mid-Del Schools have received a threatening message. We appreciate the families who have seen social media posts and have shared them with our schools.

To support this commitment, we will not allow outside food or drinks to be delivered to students. 🚌 Attention 8th Grade Parents and Guardians! 🚌 Today, all 8th grade students will be bringing home a permission slip for an exciting campus visit to Langston University through the GearUp program! 🎓 GEAR UP is a federally funded grant program that is designed to boost students’ academic success and prepare them for college and career opportunities. During this visit, they will get the opportunity to learn more about the different programs offered and see what college life looks like. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and prepare them for their future! Each 8th grade team will visit on a different day, which will be printed on your student's permission slip. If you're interested in attending as a chaperone, please check the box on the slip so we can send a background check form home.
