The Mid-Del Pre-K program utilizes the Get Set for School Curriculum from Learning Without Tears.  This complete Pre-K curriculum prepares students for kindergarten by developing the foundational skills necessary for overall academic success.  Get Set for School is a developmentally appropriate, hands-on curriculum that expands early learning possibilities by incorporating multisensory activities to engage young minds.  

Students will have opportunities to:

• Develop their fine motor skills and strengthen their hand muscles so they are ready for pre-handwriting activities.  

• Engage in gross motor activities to build their confidence and self-esteem.

• Sing, dance, and play to learn new skills in an engaging way.

• Practice early numeracy and literacy skills.

• Explore the world around them by observing, asking questions, and making connections.

• Learn about the importance of being a good citizen, following rules, and treating others with kindness.
