Over the weekend, Mid-Del students, staff, and school board members participated and attended the 27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast in Midwest City. It was a great morning celebrating the life of Dr. King and the message today was “Stand up. Speak up.”
The Midwest City High School Jazz Band performed throughout the morning. All three Mid-Del high school Color Guards combined to present the colors. Miss Taniyah Willsun, from Midwest City High School, sang the Black National Anthem. Dr. Silvya Kirk and Heather Graham were members of the event committee.
