He and Kim Templeman, Principal at Central Oak Elementary in the Crooked Oak School District, spoke with the media about the negative impact locating a jail at 1901 E. Anyone interested in helping by making donations, the Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation has set up a direct link that helps provide 100% of the donations go directly to the Child Nutrition program (without any overhead fees). The donation is considered a tax write off as it is being donated through a 501(c)3 organization.

The Board named Scott Stephens as the new Asst. Director of Transportation. Stephens graduated from Jacksonville State University. He comes from Morgan County Schools in Tennessee where he served for 30 years as teacher, coach, athletic director, asst. principal and bus driver.
