The Board of Education named Ms. Bria Bowler as the District’s College and Career Coordinator. Bria Bowler is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family Life Education with a focus on Marriage and Family, as well as a Master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education: Student Personnel. Bria is currently completing a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She has gained valuable experience at UCO since 2016 and has dedicated the past six years to serving as an Academic Coordinator, working closely with students at Del City Middle School and Del City High School. With a strong commitment to student success and a passion for empowering first-generation college students, Bria is excited about the opportunity to serve the staff, students, and community at Mid-Del Public Schools. The Board of Education named Ms. Annie Cox as the District’s Math Facilitator. Annie Cox is an experienced educator with a passion for mathematics. She is entering her 23rd year in public education where she has served as a middle school and high school math and science teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina. She then moved to Durant and taught high school math for 6 years before moving to Mid-Del. The past 5 years she has been at Carl Albert High School as a math teacher, swim coach, Instructional Coach, Ed Tech, and Title I Coordinator. Ms. Cox received her Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from East Carolina University, a Master’s Degree in Middle Grade Mathematics Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and an add-on licensure in K-12 School Administration from Wingate University. Annie enjoys spending time with her fiance, Jerry Graham, while fishing and relaxing at the lake. Please help us congratulate Ms. Cox on her new role! #mdpurpose

The Board of Education named Ms. Lori Schulz as the District’s Health Coordinator. Schulz has been a Registered Nurse for the past 36 years. Her school nursing career began in Lawton Public Schools in 1999 working in a Special Needs classroom and continued on to Moore Public Schools for 2 years as the Health Coordinator for the district. After 6 years at Putnam City, she came to Mid-Del in 2022 as the site nurse for Epperly Heights Elementary. Please help us congratulate Ms. Schulz on her new role! #mdpurpose

Every 9-12 grade student will start school 45 minutes later on Wednesdays to ensure teachers have time to collaborate about student instruction and achievement. Late Start Schedule: 7:30 - 8:20 PLC (50 mins) 8:30 - 9:05 1st hour (35 mins) 9:10 - 9:45 2nd hour (35 mins) 9:50 - 10:25 3rd hour (35 mins) 10:25 - 11:05 1st Lunch (40 mins) 10:30 - 11:10 4th Hour for 2nd Lunch (40 mins) 11:10 - 11:50 2nd Lunch (40 mins) 11:10 - 11:50 4th Hour for 1st Lunch (40 mins) 11:55 - 12:30 5th hour (35 mins) Remediation Time 12:35 - 1:30 (55 mins) 1:35 - 2:10 6th Hour (35 mins) 2:15 - 2:50 7th Hour (35 mins) *Breakfast will be served at the regularly scheduled time and students may be dropped off at school at the regularly scheduled time.
