Exciting World Mental Health Day Announcement (10-10-2024) In honor of World Mental Health Day, we are excited to announce a new resource that our secondary students will be able to access starting today! A new CANVAS course "Student Support Services" is being published today within each of our students' accounts grades 6-12. Our Mental Health Specialists have been working to create a course packed with resources to equip our students as they are working through life's daily challenges. Our hope is having these resources at their fingertips will grow resiliency within our students and the ability to advocate for themselves when they need help or have a friend they know of that needs help. Outside of Mental Health support, this course has resources on Bullying Prevention, Drug and Alcohol Education, College & Career Readiness, Health Relationships, and more! Parents and Guardians also have access to this course as your child's observer in CANVAS when logged into a desktop device, so we encourage you to contact your child's site to gain their access code if you have not done so already! For any additional questions, feel free to reach out to our Director of Counseling and Mental Health, Meagan Bryant at mbryant@mid-del.net. Please on this link to watch a short video about the new services for students grades 6-12: https://youtu.be/9WKriA3Ftic?si=qlRfN4yU-u64KqJQ

Mid-Del Families, We want to inform you that on Tuesday, November 19th our 11th and 12th grade students will have a virtual learning day. This adjustment is due to the PreACT assessment being administered to our 9th and 10th grade students on that day. Our 9th and 10th graders will report to school as regularly scheduled. Please ensure that your junior and senior students are prepared for their virtual classes and have the necessary resources available to them. Thank you for your understanding and support.
